The Empowerment Congress Senior Services Committee will offer a workshop in response to the anticipated growth of older adults residing in the County of Los Angeles. All too often seniors are thought of as being elderly and frail, however we see differently today, as older adults are living longer and maintaining active lifestyles. The Living Life Like It’s Golden workshop will present information and education on enhancing health practices, i.e proper nutrition, exercise, staying in tune with technology, avoiding social isolation and scams and embracing the concept of “Purposeful Aging.”
