The EC Civic Engagement Working Group promotes efforts to achieve equity, respect for diversity, reconciliation, and the dignity of all people. With an emphasis on the principles of intentional civility, reciprocal accountability, and participatory democracy, this working group will identify strategies to inform, equip, and mobilize diverse stakeholders throughout Los Angeles County to impact change. In consultation and collaboration with a wide range of experts, this working group will help to enhance programming and presentations of the Empowerment Congress through the practice of inclusion across all areas.
