Description: This workshop is designed to increase the engagement of underserved communities around vital environmental issues, especially in the L.A. County, 2nd District, by demonstrating how to go green with limited resources (i.e. space, money, etc.). The workshop will introduce the new initiatives of the Environmental Service Center, connect community members with environmental resources, and encourage participants to commit to making small environmentally related changes in their lives. Additionally, strategies for going green on a budget will be discussed (i.e. container gardening), and documented.
