Consistent with its mission to “educate, engage, and empower,” the EC provides constituents the opportunity to enhance their communities and affect change through its five standing committees: Arts & Culture, Emerging Civic Leaders, Equitable Economic, Environmental & Community Development, Homelessness, and Public Safety & Justice. Guided by a strategic annual workplan, our committees meet monthly and offer vital programs and events throughout the year to achieve economic, social, and political justice. We will also occasionally introduce special committees to impact specific issues that are relevant to the community at any given time.
