Consistent with its mission to “educate, engage, and empower,” the EC provides constituents the opportunity to enhance their communities and affect change through its three active working groups: Civic Engagement, Government Reform & Accountability, and Homelessness. Guided by a strategic annual workplan, our working groups meet monthly and offer vital programs and events throughout the year to achieve economic, social, and political justice. We will also occasionally introduce special committees and working groups to impact specific issues that are relevant to the community at any given time.
