Join the Institute for Nonviolence in Los Angeles for a community dialogue at La Plaza United Methodist Church! The dialogue will cover the Chinese Massacre of 1871, a day after the official anniversary on October 25th from 12:00-2:00 P.M., to honor those lost in the tragedy, learn perspectives and opinions regarding that fateful day, recognize Los Angeles’s history, as well as how to build bridges and understand racial identities within the nation. It will certainly be an eventful day with meaningful discussions, and if we want to do our part to heal the overly combative sociopolitical divide, we must rely on dialogue.
