Public Safety & Justice – About the Committee

The Public Safety & Justice Committee’s function is to educate the community about events and issues that impact the safety and well-being of the community and its residents. The committee members are committed to addressing critical public safety and justice issues, providing leadership around mobilizing and educating the community.

Goals:

  1. Educate and inform the community on public safety policies and initiatives impacting the Second Supervisorial District.
  2. Facilitate community dialogue and engagement on critical public safety issues such as sex trafficking, mental health diversion efforts, and law enforcement oversight
